Intermediate Mandolin

This bluegrass mandolin class will dive into rewarding mandolin tunes while developing the techniques that bring them to life. Students will expand their command of double stops, cross-picking, and fretboard navigation to build both speed and  precision. We’ll break down improvisation strategies used by top players, giving you the tools to craft solos with confidence and style and help you get to the next level in your playing.

Students should have a basic knowledge of bluegrass chords and rhythm, and be able to play a handful of fiddle tunes at a moderate tempo.
