Join us at Harrison Hammond House for a weekend of tunes, friends and plenty of jamming.

This fall, NimbleFingers is heading back to Harrison Hammond House for a relaxed, old-school-style jam weekend — a chance to reconnect, make some music and enjoy a weekend together in beautiful Harrison Mills.

Some of you may remember joining us here in 2024, when Harrison Hammond House became home base for a very special NimbleFingers Campout. We’re excited to return for another weekend of jamming, laughing, eating, visiting… and more jamming.

This isn’t a workshop weekend with a packed class schedule. It’s about having the time and space to share tunes, find new jam partners and enjoy the kind of informal musical community that has always been at the heart of NimbleFingers.

Harrison Hammond House gives us a great home for the weekend, with lodge rooms, cabins, indoor gathering and jam spaces, a communal kitchen and plenty of outdoor space for camping and making music.

We’ll have a variety of jam spaces (indoor and outdoor) available throughout the weekend, along with lots of opportunity for spontaneous jams wherever folks are gathered.

Meals

• We’re keeping meals relaxed and communal.

• Breakfast is included (Saturday & Sunday) with your weekend stay.

• Lunch is on your own. Bring something with you, make use of the communal kitchen, or head out and explore the area.

• Dinners on Friday and Saturday will be potluck-style. Plan to bring something to share and we’ll gather for dinner together before the evening music gets underway.

• The communal kitchen (and BBQ) will also be available throughout the weekend for anyone who would like to prepare their own food.

Saturday Night Open Stage

After our Saturday potluck dinner, we’ll turn the evening over to you! The Saturday Night Open Stage is a chance to share a song, a tune or two in a relaxed and supportive setting. Perform solo, grab a friend or two, or put something together with the folks you’ve been jamming with over the weekend. A sign-up sheet will be available Saturday morning, so you’ll have plenty of time to decide what you’d like to share — or who you’d like to convince to join you. And if performing isn’t your thing, settle in, enjoy the music and cheer everyone on before the late-night jams begin.

Stay for the Weekend

Your accommodation package includes your Fall Jam Weekend registration and breakfast, so there is no separate registration fee.

Lodge rooms and cabins are priced including two people. Additional guests can be added to some rooms (see additional fees below)

Indoor accommodation is limited, so we recommend registering early if you would like a lodge room or cabin.

Lodge Rooms:

Reserved Hammond B3 (upper floor)

Two double beds with space for up to four guests. A simple, comfortable lodge room option for couples, friends, or a small group sharing the weekend.

Reserved Hammond C3 (upper floor)

King bed with room 2 guests. A lovely mountain view, fireplace, and glass covered balcony.

Reserved Leslie Suite (lower floor)

A larger suite with one queen bed and a double bed in the back sunroom, accommodating up to four guests. A great option for friends or couples looking for a little more space.

Reserved Fender Rhodes (lower floor)

Two double beds with space for up to four guests. A comfortable lodge room for those who want to stay right in the heart of the weekend activities.

Reserved Cabin 1a

A cozy rustic cabin with one double bed, suitable for up to two guests. There are no bathroom facilities inside the cabin; shared facilities are available onsite.

Reserved Cabin 1b

A small rustic cabin with one single bed, ideal for a solo guest. There are no bathroom facilities inside the cabin; shared facilities are available onsite.

Reserved Cabin 2 / Eagle Nest View

A more private cabin with one queen bed and a pull-out double couch, sleeping up to four guests. Includes a full bathroom with a soaker tub.

Explore Harrison Mills

If you decide to take a break from the tunes, there is plenty to explore nearby.

• The Kilby Historic Site (museum & cafe) is approximately a 17-minute walk from the property.

• Nearby Kilby Park offers beach access and beautiful views of the Harrison River and surrounding mountains.

• Harrison Hot Springs is also only about a 17-minute drive away.

Who Should Come?

If you love playing music with other people, this weekend is for you. Bring your instrument, a few favourite tunes, something to contribute to the potluck and your willingness to jump into a jam.
