Jenny Lester is a dynamic Canadian bluegrass performer and recording artist, who now resides on Vancouver Island.
She has established herself as an important singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her original songs are carefully crafted in the bluegrass convention.
At the same time, her songs display a contemporary freshness and vitality breathing new life into the fabled "high lonesome" sound. A former member of Hungry Hill, Jenny is now hosting a hot new band Jenny Lester & Generation Gap.

We love that Jenny creates a band for the festival during our workshop week. She has a variety of artists she pulls together to before the festival day, So we never know who or how many members by the time they reach the stage!
